I’m sure it must be great for those people who have a mortgage or some other type of loan but for me I don’t.  Instead I have savings and this 1% interest rate is just horrible for me.  I guess I’m just being selfish but I can’t help it.  It’s not that I’m rich and have paid off my mortgage or anything.  Actually I don’t even own my own home.  I would like to at some point but until then I would like to be able to get some nice interest on my savings.  Then I will have more money for puting down as a deposit on a mortgage.  Oh well, I guess that’s just one of them things.  I just hope that it has the effect they are wanting.
